Keep a site made for runners serving runners

This is a marathon site built from a runner’s point of view. We gather races, running shoes, training tools, pace calculators, and other running information so anyone who loves running can find what they need more easily.

The site was not started mainly to make a profit. It began as a way to share experience and information with more runners. Hosting, traffic, maintenance, organizing data, and ongoing development still create recurring costs every year. They may not be huge, but for an independent site kept up over the long term, they are a cost that has to be carried.

So we open a small number of running-related ad placements. Brands, shops, and charities can reach people who truly love running, and the site can cover its basic operating costs.
