The Zhenxibao Ultra Marathon is one of Taiwan's most representative ultramarathons, held in the Zhenxibao tribal area of Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County. The course goes deep into the mountain communities on the western side of the Xueshan Range, with rich forest and sea-of-clouds scenery, pronounced elevation change and considerable cumulative climbing. Add winter lows and mountain mist, and it is a severe test of fitness and fuelling strategy.
The event offers several distances including 100K, which is one of Taiwan's benchmark ultra races; entrants need complete long-distance training and night-running experience.
